Odisha Ikat - Khandua silk saree with pistachio green base and double border . One layer of border has pasapalli design alternated with tribal motifs. The other later has the traditional temple border. The body has buti's all over. The Pasapalli and tribal motif combination gives it a unique look. Pasapalli is the very popular and traditional design of a chess board. The aanchal with elaborate Ikat work gives the saree a very gorgeous look. It does not have blouse piece.
The red and pista combination is a very traditional combination used in wedding, puja and all other auspicious occasions.
