Our Founders

Arteastic has been started by Sangita Pal whose corporate career in technology spanned more than two decades across continents. She served in leadership positions in leading IT firms like HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra and Tata Infotech Ltd (TCS) and WNS across India, Europe, US, MEA & APAC regions.  An Engineer in Computer Science from Jadavpur University and an MBA from the University of Leicester, she however wanted to combine her technological expertise, with an abiding passion for handicrafts and artisanal artforms of her roots as well as a deep desire to give back to the gifted artisans and to promote the authentic artforms of the region. This was the genesis of Arteastic.

Anupam Dutta is the co-founder of Arteastic. He is a management professional of more than 25 years’ of experience and has led organisations like Kellogg (for India, South Asia and South Africa) and Allied Blenders and also launched the Indian Super League, the country’s premier football league. An Engineer in Computer Science and a Post Graduate in Management from IIM, Calcutta, Anupam is passionate about arts and supports this venture while also pursuing his consulting.
