This is a Kantha silk saree with traditional Kantha embroidery
work done all over the aanchal and border . Different colors of silk
threads have been used on pure bangalore silk to do the heavy and intricate
embroidery work . The patterns with floral motifs are very traditional and
authentic Bengali designs.
This saree is directly sourced from
Shantiniketan, West Bengal where it is hand-embroidered by the women, on pure
Bangalore silk base. A very traditional yet modern saree. It is light weight
and comfortable to wear. Suitable for all occasions, for women of all age.
